We Know That It's Been A Few Days, But.....

The girls are truly sorry not letting me blog sooner but the poor dears have had a few details to attend to...Their sweet, newly wedded tenants moved out and the girls moved back in. Also, they have been without wireless or cable and just feel lost without their "outside" connections. I asked to borrow the car and head to the library for free wifi but, noooooo, Rachel had to make a rude comment about my feet not reaching the car pedals. A simple, "no, Dear Sister" would have sufficed....

The young newly weds head off to their new life and adventures.....

A few details to be attended to....

Hulky (and hunky--vows, vows, vows!) young Alex helped the girls with heavy lifting. I did nothing. I was still stung by Rachel's earlier rebuke.

A nightmare unfolds. Rachel kept lamenting for the good ol' Alessandria days when they only had 4 pans, 4 dishes, no microwave, and a ton of spoons.

Kim keeps up her spirits! Laughter is a hearty medicine....

After a winter of much snow and assault, their yard has
been in need of just a tad bit of attention....

Young Kevin helps out (yes, another hunky hulk)....

So, a few updates: Kim has a job! Praise be!! Never discount the power of candle lighting!! Her old position at Western State Hospital was offered back to her. She begins tomorrow, Monday. Sigh, the poor dear is in a bit of disbelief that so much has come and gone... She will be the breadwinner, for now. Rachel will remain at home, waiting for the cable man and attending to various projects. She keeps applying for jobs but alas, it is not her time. Stay tuned. Much more to come.
